Bone Densitometer
This state-of-the-art, dual energy x-ray (DEXA) machine allows us to quickly, accurately and painlessly measure bone density in the spine or hips of patients.
This test will help physicians screen for, diagnose, and manage osteoporosis. It is the first and only such device on the Eastern Shore of Virginia.
Appointments for this test can be scheduled by your physician by calling 442-6600.
Pre-authorization is generally required by most insurance companies.
